Look up!

I don't like shopping as much as I used to. I find shopping mall is a bit boring. I get what I want, and that is it! While waiting for someone, I looked around, and found nothing interesting until I looked up. This photo was taken inside Rideau Centre.

Frozen Locks

The Ottawa Locks connect the channel of the Rideau Canal in Ottawa to the Ottawa River, almost 80 ft. (24.4 m) below. These locks represent an amazing engineering achievement in the middle of the Canadian wilderness of the early 19th century.

Icicles

Walking around downtown Ottawa, I was wondering whether anybody got hurt from these icicles. Some even looked more dramatic than in this picture.

Snow at last

Decent amont of snow came for the first time. I decided to walked around the neighborhood a bit. This photo was taken from a little park behind St. George's Cathedral.
